The Supers and The Stinkers

The Supers
( S-tat stuffing U-ltra P-roductive & E-fficient R-oto S-tuds)

PG - Russell Westbrook - Oklahoma City Thunder

Russell Westbrook burned the warriors for 21 pts ( 8-17 FGs, 5-6FTs) 7 rebs, 10 asts, 8 stl, 2 TOs. After averaging almost a triple double the past few games, he upped the ante and almost scored a quadruple double. Congratulations are in order if you got to buy him low when he was struggling two weeks ago.

Honorable Mention:
Nate Robinson - New York Knicks
26 pts (9-18 FGs 5 3's 3-3 FTs) 4 rebs 6 asts 1 stl 1 blk 1TO .

SG - Stephen Jackson - Charlotte Bobcats
Stephen Jackson paced the Bobcats in a loss, He had 26 pts (9-17 FGs, 4 3's, 4-5 FTs), 4 rebs, 6 asts, 3 stl and 4 TOs. He's on fire right now and there is no reason for him to slow down. He has become one of the focal points in the Bobcat's offense
Honorable Mention:
Dwyane Wade - Miami Heat
20pts (7-21 FGs, 6-8 FTs) 6 rebs, 8 asts, 2 stls and 3 TOs.

SF - Lebron James - Cleveland Cavaliers

Lebron James accomplished a rare 5x5. He had 47 pts (17-37 FGs, 6 3's, 7-7 FTs) with 8 rebs, 8 asts, 5 stls and 5 TO.  He's really making a strong case for MVP this year.

Honorable Mention:
Kevin Durant - Oklahoma City Thunder
29 pts (7-21 FGs, 2 3's, 13-14 FT) 8 rebs, 4 asts, 4 stl, 1 blk and 4 TO.

PF - Lamar Odom - Los Angeles Lakers

Lamar Odom started and was 4 asts shy of a triple double. He had 10pts (4-9FGs, 2-2 FTs) 22 rebs, 6 asts, 1stls, 1 blk and committed just 1 TO. With Kobe and Bynum nursing various injuries, expect him to produce above average numbers.

Honorable Mention:
Kenyon Martin - Denver Nuggets
16 pts ( 6-14 FGs 4-6 FTs) 13 rebs, 3 asts, 2stls, 2 blks and 6 TOs.

C - Jermaine O'neal - Miami Heat

Jermaine O'neal turned back the hands of time and produced 24 pts (9-16 FGs, 6-7 FTs) 16 rebs, 5 asts, 1 stl, 3 blk and 3 TOs. Jermaine O'neal isn't the same player he was years ago but found a way to produce vintage numbers. He's no longer a must start but he's still a serviceable center.

Honorable Mention:
Andrew Bogut -Milwaukee
21pts (9-15FGs, 4-6FTs) 8 rebs, 2 asts 1 stls, 1 blks and 3 TOs.

The Stinkers
(They stink, period.)

PG - Johnny Flynn - Minnesota Timberwolves

Johnny Flynn had  6 pts (2-6 FGs 0 3's ) 0 reb and 5 asts and 1 stl  in a win versus Memphis. He was outplayed by Ramon Sessions, who had 19 pts, 6 assts and 3 rebs. Hopefully this is just a fluke, but if you can trade him for a better player, we won't blame you.

Honorable Mention:
Daniel Gibson - Cleveland Cavaliers
6 pts (2-6 FGs) 3 reb, 7 asts.

SG - Kirk Hinrich - Chicago Bulls

Kirk Hinrich struggled with foul trouble and had just 6 pts (3-7 FGs, 0-0 FTs) 2 rebs, 2 ast 1 stls, 1 blk and 2 TOs. Capt. Kirk was tasked to defend Dwyane Wade so its expected for him to have an off night.

Honorable Mention:
Aaron Aafalo - Denver Nuggets
3 pts (1-9 FGs 1 3's ) 2 asts, 1 blk.

SF - Martell Webster - Portland Trailblazers

Martell Webster started but managed just 2 pts( 1-7 FGs ), 2 reb, 2 ast, 1 stl and 2 TO. We expected more from Webster specially with Brandon Roy out till the all-star break. He's taken a big hit since Nicolas Batum and Rudy Fernandez came back from injuries.

Honorable Mention:
Wilson Chandler - New York Knicks
6pts (2-7 FGs, 2-2FTs) 3 rebs and 3 asts 1 blk and 2 TOs.

PF - Luis Scola - Houston Rockets

Luis Scola is known as a double-double machine, but versus the Sixers, he only managed 8 pts and 1 rebound and 3 TOs. It's never a good sign if you're power forward has more TO's than rebs.

Honorable Mention:
Michael Beasley - Miami Heat
6 pts ( 2-11 FGs ) 4 rebs 1 ast, 1 blk and 4 TOs.

 C - Nene - Denver Nuggets

Nene Hilario had an off night versus Utah. He only managed 4 pts (1-2 FGs, 2-2 FTs) 2 rebs, 1 ast, 1 stl and 4 TO. He had more turnovers than rebs, stls and blks combined. This is not the kind of production we are accustomed to from Nene.

Honorable Mention:
Roy Hibbert - Detroit Pistons
10 pts (5-7 FGs) 4 rebs, 1 stl and 2 blk and 4 TOs.
