Waiver Wire Picks

Welcome to the first edition of Waiver Wire Pick-ups. This week we examine several players on the wire that are worthy of a spot on your rosters. The guards take center stage as injuries keep piling up for different teams. Here's my top 5 picks:

1. Darren Collison - New Orleans Hornets - Point Guard

Biggest news this week is Chris Paul having arthroscopic surgery for a cartilage tear on his left knee and may miss one to two months. Hello Darren Collison! The rookie has filled in nicely for CP3 in the game against the Grizzlies, logging in 47 mins, scoring 17 pts, grabbing 6 rebs and shattering Paul's franchise rookie record of 18 dimes. In 9 games as a starter, Collison has averaged 15.1 pts, 7.7dimes, 3.4 rebs and 1.0 stls per games. And with no other decent back-up point guard in sight, expect the Hornets to give DC2 all the minutes he can handle. He is still just 16% owned in yahoo leagues. Don't expect that to last long and if you're reading this, grab him right now !!!!

Welcome

Hi everyone, we are still under construction so please be patient with us. As our title suggests, we are twin brothers who love fantasy basketball and apparently have a lot of free time on our hands. In this blog we hope to write 3 regular articles per week. The first article will be Weekly Starts and Sits, a full coverage of all 30 NBA teams and their players who should be started or benched for the week. The second article, Waiver Wire Picks, will revolve around hot free Agent pick-ups. And finally, The Weekly Round-up tackles the biggest news and stats makers of the week. Hopefully you'll check us out soon.

Thanks.
