The Supers and The Stinkers

The Supers
( S-tat stuffing U-ltra P-roductive & E-fficient R-oto S-tuds)

Point-Guard:
1. Derrick Rose - Chicago Bulls

Stat Line: 29 pts ( 14-18 FGs, 1- FTs) 3 rebs, 6 asts, 1 stl and 2 TOs.
Why he's on top: Monster game in just 27 mins. Solid percentages. Could of had a sick line if the Knicks didn't suck so much.

2. Deron Williams - Utah Jazz
Stat Line: 17 pts (6-14 FGs, 1 3's, 4-4 FTs) 3 rebs, 15 asts, 1 stl, 1 blk and 4 TOs.

Why he's 2nd best: D-will filled up the stat sheet, but Rose was definitely more efficient tonight. The TOs are killer man.

3. Devin Harris - New Jersey Nets

Stat Line: 17 pts. ( 7-16 FGs, 1 3's, 2-3 FTs ) 6 rebs, 9 asts, 1 blk and 3 TOs.

Why he's solid: Flirted with a triple-double on this one. The Nets wouldn't be on their current predicament if Harris was playing like this all season.

Shooting Guard:
1. Shannon Brown - Los Angeles Lakers

Stat Line : 27 pts (11-19FGs, 1 3's,  4-4 FTs) 10 rebs, 3 asts, 2 stls, 1 blk and 1 TO.

Why he's on top: Stat-Stuffing line we have been expecting ever since Kobe went down. A great line, but expect Brown to be a marginal player again once Kobe returns from injury.

2.Jason Richardson - Phoenix Suns
Stat Line: 27 pts ( 12-17 FGs, 2 3's, 1-2 FTs) 6 rebs, 1 ast, 2 stls, 2 blks  and 1 TO.

Why he's 2nd best: Wow, it felt like an eternity since J-Rich had a game like this one. The 2 stls and 2 blks are golden baby. Hope he starts to turns it around in the 2nd half.

3. Dywane Wade - Maimi Heat

 Stat Line: 24 pts ( 8-16 FGs, 1 3's 7-8 FTs ) 6 rebs, 6 asts, 1 stl, 1 blk  and 4 TOs.

Why he's solid: Wade did it all tonight, efficiently too i might add as he played just 28.3 mins. The TOs are high though.

Small Forward:
1. Martell Webster - Portland Trailblazers

Stat Line: 28 pts ( 9-13, 7 3's, 3-3 FTs) 1 reb, 3 asts, 2 stls, 1 blk and 1 TO.
Why he's on top: Webster shot the lights out in Portland. 7 3's are huge and got you a couple of stls and blks. Congratulations, this performance will probably win you this week's 3's category.

2. Kevin Durant - Oklahoma Thunder

 Stat Line: 25 pts ( 9-28 FGs, 2 3's, 5-8 FTs) 14 rebs, 2 asts, 3 blks and  1 TO.

Why he's 2nd best: Superstar numbers , but shot a miserable 32% from the field and 63% from the line. Don't mind it much though, Durant is a superstar and the future of the NBA.

3. Gerald Wallace - Charlotte Bobcats

Stat Line:21 pts ( 7-14 FGs, 7-9 FTs) 10 rebs, 2 asts, 1 stl, 3 blks and 1 TO.
Why he's solid: We like this line a lot, but Durant just brought more to the table. This is a very strong 3nd in our opinion.

Power Forward:
1. LaMarcus Aldridge - Portland Trailblazers

Stat Line: 22 pts ( 9-16 FGs, 4-6 FTs ) 9 rebs, 2 asts, 3 stls, 1 blk and 1 TO.
Why he's on top: Still filled the stat sheet even with Roy in the line-up. Really stepped-up his game with teammates injured. Expect his rebs, blks and stls to go down when Camby debuts on friday.

2. Boris Diaw - Charlotte Hornets

Stat Line: 19 pts ( 6-18 FGs, 1 3's 7-8 FTs) 10 rebs, 3 asts, 1 stl, 2 blks and 1 TO.
Why he's 2nd best: Solid stat-stuffer from Diaw, LA just had a better one.

3. Dirk Nowitzki - Dallas Mavericks

Stat Line: 24 pts ( 9-22 FGs, 6-6 FTs) 9 rebs, 6 asts and 2 TOs.
Why he's solid: Solid line for Dirk, almost triple-doubled in this one. Some defensive stats would have made this one No.1.

Center:

1.Mehmet Okur - Utah Jazz
Stat Line: 21 pts ( 9-16 FGs, 1 3's,  2-4 FTs) 8 rebs, 2 asts, 4 blks and 1 TO.

Why he's on top: All around game for Okur. Great percentages (well, except FT%) with low turnover. 4 blks is money in the bank baby!!

2 .David Lee - New York Knicks
Stat-Line: 24 pts ( 10-23 FGs, 4-4 FTs) 12 rebs, 4 asts, 1stl and 4 TOs
Why he's 2nd best: Great stat line from Lee, but FG% and TOs are gonna drag you down.

3.Robin Lopez - Phoenix Suns
Stat Line: 18 pts ( 6-11 FG, 6-9 FTs) 10 rebs and 2 TOs..
Why he's solid: Double-double for Robin Lopez, but didn't do much besides pts and rebs.

Sixth Man:
1. Paul Millsap - Utah Jazz

Stat Line: 20 pts ( 8-11 FGs, 4-6 FTs) 12 rebs,2 stls, 2 blks and 2 TOs.
Why he's on top: Notched a 20-10 double-double with great percentages and other goodies on the side. Worthy of the top spot.

2. Kevin Love - Minnesota Timberwolves

Stat Line: 22 pts ( 9-14 FGs, 1 3's,  3-3 FTs )  15 rebs, 1 ast and  2 TOs.
Why he's 2nd best : Monster double-double in only 28 mins of play, But Millsap's defensive stats to good to pass up.

3. Rasheed Wallace - Boston Celtics

Stat Line: 17 pts ( 5-9 FGs, 1 3's, 6-6 FTs ) 5 rebs, 1 stl, 3 blks and 1 TOs.
Why he's solid: Lots of guy were big off the bench tonight ( Jason Thompson had 14 pts, 11 rebs and 4 blks, James Harden notched 17 pts, 5 rebs, 6 asts and 3 3's, DeAndre Jordan recorded 14 pts, 11 rebs and 3 blks, David Andersen had 18 pts, 7 rebs, 3 asts, 3 3's and 2 stls.), But Wallace's was more well-rounded and had better percentages.

The Stinkers
(They stink, period.)

Point-Guard:
1.Chris Duhon - New York Knicks
Stat Line: 2 pts ( 1-4 FGs)  1 reb, 2 asts, 1 stl and 1 TO.

Why he's the worst: Despite having played almost 40 mins and with Nate Robinson and Larry Hughes out, this was all he can muster. The Knicks have to get rid of this guy.

2.Baron Davis - Los Angeles Clippers
Stat Line: 6 pts (3-11 FGs ) 4 rebs, 2 asts and 5 TOs.

Why he's bad: Shot just 27% from the filled and added 5 TOs and a measly 4 rebs and 2 asts in 30 mins. Man, B-Diddy really sucked tonight.

Shooting Guard:
1. Brandon Roy - Portland Trailblazers

Stat Line: 4 pts ( 2-7 FGs, 0-1 FTs) 1 ast, 2 stls and 1 TO.

Why he's the worst:Came back from a hamstring injury but didn't do much. Blazers should just rest him some more so he won't re-aggravate his injury.

2.Wayne Ellington - Minnesota Timberwolves
Stat Line: 5 pts. ( 1-6 FG's, 1 3's, 2-2 FTs) 3 rebs, and 1 TO.
Why he's bad: Didn't do much but hurt your FG% in 25 mins.

Small Forward:
 1. Ryan Gomes - Minnesota Timberwolves

Stat Line: 2 pts ( 1-5 FGs) 2 rebs, 1 ast and 1 TO.

Why he's the worst: Same as Wayne Ellington.

2. Shawn Marion - Dallas Mavericks
Stat Line: 8 pts ( 3-11 FGs, 2-2 FTs) 6 rebs, 1 ast and 1 TO.

Why he's bad: Mediocre stats after 33 mins of play. Shot miserable 27% from the field. Lines like this will be the norm for Marion as he loses the most value in the Caron Butler-Josh Howard trade.

Power Forward:
1. Yi Jianlian - New Jersey Nets

Stat Line: 6 pts (1-4 FGs, 4-5 FTs ) 4 rebs,  1 stl and 1 TO.

Why he's the worst: Measly contributions, clearly outplayed by Kris Humphries.

2.Elton Brand - Philadelphia 76ers
Stat Line: 8 pts (4-10 FGs,) 5 rebs, 2 asts, 1 blk and 1 TO.

Why he's bad: Played 34 mins and got just 5 rebs. 76ers eventually got thrashed on the boards 52-37. Brand has to grab some more if they want to win.

Center:
1. Chris Kaman - Los Angeles Clippers

Stat Line:  4 pts, ( 1-6 FGs, 2-2 FTs ) 8 rebs and 7 TO.
Why he's the worst: The 8 rebs are not enough to offset Kaman's atrocious 17% FG and 7 TOs.

2. Kendrick Perkins - Boston Celtics
Stat Line: 6 pts (2-7 FGs, 2-4 FTs) 5 rebs, 1 ast, 1 blk and 2 TOs.

Why he's bad: Terrible percentages and mediocre contributions. After a hot first half, Perkins is falling back to earth in his last few games.
